sneakers cost same as 4 dozen fancy cupcakes...

While waiting for a lil' package of finely-ground hazelnut meal to arrive at my doorstep last week, I baked a batch of cuppycakes for my co-worker Cathie to pass the time. :) It was my first batch of plain Dutch Chocolate cupcakes in a long time, along with the ever-popular Caramel Apple pie and Vanilla/Almond Marble with Bourbon Buttercream.

See if you can guess which is which:

Finally, because spring is coming and I feel guilty from eating so much cupcake batter, I went to the gym yesterday for the first time in 200,000 billion years. (I used to jog in Pangea... I am hilaaaaaarious.) And then I bought these kickass crazy-face sneakers to congratulate myself:

Lee's cupcakes are truely delicious; her plum cobbler is childhood and happiness in a bowl. Keep baking til the world is a better place!

Those are definitely kickass and crazyface sneakers. I can just picture all the dirty Asics and New Balance pairs flush with shame at their own inferiority and lack of crazyfaceness...

if I had sneakers like that, I would never get bored on the treadmill... I'd just stare and stare at my footwear...
