At Busboys and Poets, watching the nomination speech. I watched Barack Obama accept the Democratic party nomination, on the anniversary of Dr. King's "I Have a Dream Speech," with a huge crowd of people from all walks of life, in a bar across the street from where the first window was smashed in the DC riots 40 years ago. I love the feeling of sitting with history for a while.
